There is a song I play on my station called New York Is A Lonely Town by the Tradewinds. It hit #32 in 1965. In the lyrics "My Woodie Is Down, Covered with Snow, no place to go now, New York's A Lonely Town when your the only surfer boy, around"

"Ain't No Sunshine" is hard to top. Tres apropos! How 'bout putting a positive spin on this crappy New England winter weather. May I suggest "Put On A Happy Face," ("Gray skies are gonna clear up..."). Right now, as I'm writing this and looking out my window, "Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!" would be quite appropriate.

How about either 'The Heat is On' (don't know the artist), or 'Summertime' by Will Smith. Enough of winter! It's time for the WARMTH to return! The winter fans have had their 90 days!
