I really enjoyed that 'promo' during the Oscars, it's really clever!

Can we expect a set 'update' and switch to HD when News Channel 8 switches over to News 8?

As much as I love WTNH ActionNEWS 8. I'm not feeling the change to much. It don't seem to have as much flash & apeal as the current one do. But if it works for you, go for it.

Jeff-

I agree with you. It's plain, boring, cold and looks like something an elementary school art class did!

The promo was 1,000 more exciting than the final presentation! There MUST be new management at WTNH to be causing all this confusion and changing anchors around etc. Whenever new people take over in any capacity, they have to "prove" themselves by turning everything upside down. Then, they hang around for a few years and move on to their next victims!

Leave everyone and everything alone! It was fine the way it was!

Sorry, I did not watch the Oscars. I feel there is more important things going on in the world than Oscars and actors.

How much did the 6th grader who designed that logo get paid? I'm in the wrong business...my advertising art class in high school would have come up with something far less boring.

I don`t know what the other logo was,I am more interested in the news and weather than what the props are or whos reporting the news or what their wearing or what their hair style is,or the color of their skin is or what gender they are.I hope it was a bargin for you and didn`t cost you too much with the economy the way it is.

A logo doesn't want me to watch or not watch channel 8. When are your local shows going to be transmitted in real HD?

Wowee, a new logo. Let's see, it has the station letters, the channel number; shows the website, I guess that's good. The colors are ok. Hmmm, hard to say if it's any better than the old logo. I guess I'll need to get hit over the head with it a million times on the tv, website, facebook page, twitter, newsvans, etc. before I can decide. Hey, do you realize how much it will cost you to make this change? All that money might be better spent on good lighting in the studio (I like the stand-up shots to open the news broadcast, but the lighting isn't doing the anchors any favors.)

The presentation during the Oscars was okay. You should have put as much thought into the logo as you did the presentation; very plain and boring.

When you get right down to it any logo doesn't do justice to a network that still doesn't broadcast in true HD. Why don't you spend some money where it will really be noticed; elevate yourself to the modern present day standards of HD broadcasting. Why do you still choose to stay with old and antiquated broadcasting technology?

New logo ugly and does not reflect the station well at all...whoever paid of this - I hope that it was not a lot of money. Again, work on getting a broadcast right with graphics and video AND then meddle. Current logo is just fine and does a better job - JUST HATE THE RED! Make it blue - would probably look better. It reminds me of what they tell people when they go on TV...wear the red - it's a sign of power and authority...and shows up good on TV - NO!
