I think your statement of "there is no sportsmanship in sports" is extremely irrational. What you're essentially stating, is that the Mitchell report is 100% true, and none of these fine stellar athletes deserve the right to even TRY and clear their name. Now I'm a Yankee fan, but year after year I watched the great Mo Vaughn terrorize pitchers with his legendary hitting abilities. I've read up on the man, I've witnessed his charitable activities. This man worked hard, was respectable and paid his dues. He at least deserves to be given the chance to tell his side of the story.

ya know, after 17 years for doing criminal investigations and what not, (sometimes you wonder if the 'brass' are not the true criminals) and after watching 60 mins and the press interview this afternoon, i might not be as sure as i was about him 'taking the juice.'

lie detectors/polygraph results are not worth the powder to blow the results to hell...

i see this shaping up to be a battle of, as Warren Zevon so elequently said, "Lawyers, Guns, and Money"...

Clemens knows that there is no way it can actaually be proved that he took HGH (I believe he did). It is his word against his accusers. The other person accused by the trainer, namely Clemen's close friend and workout buddy Andt Pettite, admitted he took illegal substances. If Roger appears before a congressional committee, it will be under oath. How about a lie detector test Roger? Pete Rose was banned from baseball and the Hall of Fame for betting on his OWN team (never against them). IMHO, Clemen's should get the same treatment. He is a liar, and a bad example for kids.
