Former UConn standout Hasheem Thabeet makes his debut with the Memphis Grizzlies tonight. He had some fun Tuesday with the Fox station in Memphis and their Meteorologist Joey Sulipeck. In the interest of sharing some fun, here's the longer clip of the outtakes.

Is channel 8 getting kick backs from UCONN? Every other news story is a UCONN piece.

Leon, good job picking up on this. The answer is an unequivocal yes. This station is definately getting some kind of kick back from UConn. They are so in bed with the school that they can't separate themselves when there are negative stories about the University or its teams. Many of the staff that cover the games pretend to be friends with the players rather than being "objective reporters" and covering the players. (and you should hear what those player say about those staff members after they're gone)
