Alex Rodriguez

So, Yankee star Alex Rodriguez addresses the media to talk about his steroid use. He reads a brief statement and then takes questions -- but no follow-ups. He says he's sorry.. he was "young and stupid".. and didn't really know what he was taking. I say, "Give me a break."

From Sunshine to Snow Today!

Posted by Gil on February 18th, 2009 at 07:52:05 am, 2391 views

Hello!

I am expecting some weather changes today! Dry weather will hold through lunch. The snow is expected to break out between 3PM and 5PM later today. Here is the good news. Temperatures should make it up over freezing midday before the snow starts. This will keep the road surfaces wet and not white for some time across the state. It could turn a little slick after 6PM across Northern areas before the snow changes to rain.

Have a nice day! -Gil

What do you do after you think you've had enough? Do you find your voice and scream for help? Do you find the courage to go before a judge and share the horrific details of the abuse? Do you dare hope that a restraining order is enough to keep the monster away?

Your Favorite Way To Get News

Posted by Ted Koppy on February 12th, 2009 at 10:28:35 pm, 2447 views

I started delivering the news at a young age. I'm not talking about my first painful attempts at anchoring television news. As a kid I had a paper route. Each morning the alarm would go off before the sun came up, and I would get dressed, walk door to door, and deliver newspapers - sometimes to people in their pajamas or a robe, one hand extended waiting for the day's headlines, and a cup of coffee in the other.

Peanut Problems

It was political theater at its best, a congressman staring down a company big wig, asking him to eat some of the products his plant turned out.

Posted by Jocelyn Maminta on February 9th, 2009 at 06:11:44 pm, 1556 views

We were pretty vocal during the break in the 5 p.m. newscast today.

The first topic, the octuplets. Today we aired a story about their grandmother. Both Keith and I can not understand why she had to voice criticism against her own daughter. The situation is already pretty emotionally charged.
