Out of State Plates

What's the most popular neighborhood in Philadelphia? The Fair Haven section of New Haven!

I know that's a little sarcastic but as our latest Count on 8 Investigation reveals, if you drive a round Fair Haven it's hard not to see a car or truck without Pennsylvania plates in just about every block.

What's going on here?

Name That Wedding Tune

Posted by Jocelyn Maminta on February 26th, 2009 at 01:11:52 pm, 3343 views

Last night, legendary musician Stevie Wonder was honored at the White House.
During the course of the evening it was reported the Obamas had chosen Wonder's song 'You and I' as their wedding song.

That revelation prompted Web Producer Rebecca Santillo to share with me that she and the Obamas shared the same wedding song. I was not familiar with it so she promptly found it on the internet and had me listen to it. It is a well written love song.

I chose the classic 'Our Love Is Here To Stay' for my first dance with my husband.
Nat King Cole sings it beautifully. Rebecca and I agreed that it would be challenging for our husbands to name our wedding song. Especially since that detail was left to us to decide.

So ladies do you agree? Could your husband name that tune?
And men, do you remember what it was?

Changing Temperatures

Posted by Gil on February 19th, 2009 at 08:07:09 am, 3013 views

Hello :D

Some temperature changes on the way over the next few days. We started with some areas in the 40s this morning and that is above where we should be during the afternoon.

The normal high temperature for shoreline and interior areas is 39 degrees this time of the year. I am forecasting 40s for today.

Colder air will invade tonight. There could be a few snow showers around parts of Connecticut as the cold air arrives. Windy as well with some gusts to 35 mph possible tonight!

Have a great day! -Gil
