I know this much about Tiger Woods, despite his long layoff from the game, he's still probably the best golfer in the world and I doubt he'll be in the running for 2010 Husband of the Year.
We're getting word this afternoon that Woods will hold a press conference on Friday morning to make his first public appearance since his widely publicized marital transgressions. Woods will reportedly apologize for his mistakes, although he won't take any questions from the media. The fact that Tiger won't be taking questions and wants complete control of the environment shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. Let us not forget how carefully crafted the billion dollar Woods image was prior to his car accident over the Thanksgiving Day weekend. Even after Woods apologizes I wonder if he will ever be able to win back the millions of fans he lost as a result of the scandal. The old saying goes 'Time heals all wounds'. Tiger Woods is about to get a chance to test that theory. What do you think, will the public ever let Tiger move on from the scandal?

I feel badly for his wife and children! He deserves all the bad carma that comes his way! Nothing worse in my book then a unfaithful husband or wife for that matter. Unforgivable and nothing he says at any press conferance will make me feel the way I did about him pre-scandle, no matter how good of a golfer he is!

I'm disappointed, of course, that Tiger would cheat. I thought he was above all that, and I don't feel the same about him now. I don't think that this will hurt his popularity, however.
People tend to forget things like this because cheating, on many fronts, is all too common. Everybody does it, so why should the public shun Tiger Woods because he made a mistake? Sadly, Tiger will regain his popularity in no time!

I think he is a dispicable example of humanity. No matter how good he is at golf, we should boycott him. He is scum. If a governmental person did what scumtiger did, he would be required to resign. Well if Bill Clinton can do what he did and not get impeached, I doubt Tiger will lose a large fan base. I know it's wrong but he'll have to face the music with his wife and children.

The tale will go on. Wild tigers have stripes in order to hide in the tall grass and be invisible to their prey while hunting. The stripes are a form of camouflage, a form of deception. Tigers cannot change their stripes. Tiger Woods, who has his own stripes, his own camouflage, his own form of deception, can try to hide. He hides behind the status of being a celebrity. His "stripes" will never change. Being human, however, he will be easier to track by the media in his "hunting" unless of course he hides in the tall grass.

Tiger is a rock star of a golfer... and like any rock star has groupies. he is tempted by fame, tempted by fortune, and vice like any other person (man or WOMAN)... will he regain the fans he lost, not time soon, in time he will get some of them back, but the "holy-er than thou's" out there preach forgivness, but don't always follow their own teachings...

What I do know is this which is based on my faith in God Keith. Every one of us human beings will stand before God and give an accounting before Him and no one will be exempt from it. God gave us life and we account for what we did with it. Every human has their skeletons in the closet. I'm not the judge of all things or people and good thing too. I'm not good at it. The old saying absolute power corrupts absolutly is true. Tiger and other celebrities and politicians suffer much great temptation because of money and other things. I think this is just another step in his treatment program and that he wouldn't be doing it otherwise. But to make a controlled spectacle out of it is just more Tiger being Tiger. He should apologize to his friends privately, then make whatever public statement he felt he needed to. But to allow a camera in lets him take care of both at once without actually having to face the public. Although undeniably a great golfer, I was never a fan of his. He only seemed to talk to the press if things were going his way and if you ever noticed, every other word was "I" this" or "I that". He seemed so full of himself.

Why is this news? I don't really care what his predilections are. This should be a private matter between him and his wife and the rest of us need to mind our own business.

Every time I saw Tiger before this happened, he reminded me of James, my former boss, who was a good-looking guy, but a snake in the grass. This man James screwed me over, but more in the sense that I worked hard for him, and he gave me no raise. Luckily, I only worked for him for 20 months. Anyhow, when this happened with Tiger, I was the least surprised human being because I knew that the two snakes in the grass resembled each other.
