Halloween Help
It's October 3rd already, the countdown is on to stock up on candy and costumes. Stores are loaded with costumes... and believe it or not, some are starting to sell out.
This year, my husband and I are judging a Halloween costume contest, and as judges-- we are encouraged to dress up as well. So, I'm looking for some help here... any suggestions? Darren Kramer suggested we go as Shrek and Fiona.
Here's a look at a Fiona costume:

This year, apparently "interactive costumes" are big among college students. In a new survey where college kids listed their choices for costumes, one person said he was planning to be a memo board complete with magnets, push pins, stickers, and an outfit that people could write on. Another listed "pinata"...if you hit her, she'd throw candy at you. Hopefully people will be gentle.
So, share your thoughts... and while you're at it... let us know what you or your kids plan to be this year for Halloween. Or, maybe what/who you've dressed up as in past years.

I suggest that you and your husband be Batman and Catwoman. You both are very fit people and great looking and I believe you guys would look awesome. My wife has dressed like supergirl and refuses to dress again as her because I tend to chase her with her looking so good. lol Either way , the choice is yours. You guys will look great anyway you choose. Have a great time!
After seeing you sit on that Harley this summer, I think you should go as a biker babe and your husband can go as a biker!
For your event you can always put on a suit and tie and stick him in a dress. That would really take the cake.
The Tank Engine. I think you would look
great as Fiona. You are such a beautiful
person, you would look great however you
choose to dress.
Good Luck
My wife and I had the extreme pleasure of meeting Sonia and her husband last year at an event. No only is her a very handsome man, but we were blown away by how down to earth Sonia and her husband were to us. Most of the time people in the public eye put up a phony display, but I can assure you all that Sonia and her husband are very good people. If anyone has a chance to meet them, I am sure you will agree with my assesment. Sonia, we hope we get to see you guys again sometime soon. God bless.

Most fun I ever had dressing up was in high school with my brother... I cut & taped multiple lawn & leaf bags together to make a giant "garbage" bag that I could fit in, tied at the neck and teased the long hair and stuck "garbage" all over in it. Brother was the Garbage Man, uniformed and all, and proceeded to be my locomotion - carried me over his shoulder any time I wanted to move around the room. Inside the costume, I kept a stash of "silly string" and kept spraying it out of the neck tie. Much fun!
Be creative - don't buy a costume, though - think outside the box and RECYCLE things you've got laying around the house! :-)
As for ideas for you two, I suggest maybe Mr. and Mrs. Claus. You don't see many people doing it and it is a costume that may still be there because people are thinking about it in December not October. Good luck and take pictures for us! :)
The short version -- be nice and be respectful of other's opinions, even if they don't agree with yours, or your comment may be deleted.
